When Prodrive Shopfitting reached out to Aircon Group to take on a significant challenge in Middlesbrough’s town centre, we knew it would be no ordinary project. Aware of Prodrive Shopfitting’s reputation for high-quality projects, we were eager to meet the high standards they set for their clients.

Stephen Laverick, Design and Contracts Manager jumped at the opportunity to work on this project, his knowledge and expertise were paramount in designing a cost-effective, efficient system with a high-end finish to match the aesthetics of the store design.

Once the design had been agreed to and Aircon Group were given the green light to proceed, the first task was to decommission the old indoor air conditioning units and external condensers and remove the redundant equipment from the store. All gas recovered by Aircon Group is sent away for recycling as are the plastics and metals from the old kit.

The installation consisted of ducted air conditioning to three long linear grills, connected to lossnay units for regular fresh air exchange, thus ensuring that employees feel more productive, and customers have a pleasant experience in store.
