Refrigeration / Airconditioning Service Experience

  • Monday – Friday
  • Pay TBC – dependant on experience

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and repairs.
  • Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
  • Complete all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works
  • Liaise closely with the client (Commercial clients) to maintain excellent customer relations
  • Work in a safe and controlled manor following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas)
  • An individual who has previously worked on a variety of Refrigeration Systems, Fridge, Freezers, Display Cabinets, Cold-rooms, Chillers
  • Air-conditioning experience on Split A/C Systems also VRV, AHU
  • Mechanical and Electrical Skills
  • Full Driving license
  • Clean Enhanced DBS

General

  • Salary: Dependant on Experience
  • Location: Based Teeside
  • Working hours:
    • Monday to Friday 
    • 8:30am to 5pm 

Trainee Engineer Day to day duties: 

  • will include working alongside our refrigeration and air conditioning installation engineers.
  • Ad hoc duties as required
  • Installing Refrigeration plant for cold rooms & cabinets
  • Installation of split air conditioning and VRF.

Trainee Engineer must have: 

  • Must have full Clean Driving License
  • Be able to pass DBS and enhanced vetting checks required so that we can provide our services to customers. 

Experience in a job role that uses hand tools, specific Refrigeration & Air conditioning preferable but not required

A senior position has become available for a Working Refrigeration / Airconditioning
Supervisor at the Wombwell branch of Aircon Group.  
 
The Role is a very important one in helping to ensure the high-quality of our services to our
customers is maintained.
We envisage this role at first to be a working one and gradually over a few years the position
will move more to be in the office and then going out to help engineers when needed as well
as seeing customers when requested.
 
Main requirements are… 

  • High / good moral values with excellent communication skills.
  • To be a team player that understands and wants to help and be a part of a successful team.
  • To be trustworthy, honest and above the line in everything you do. 
  • To carry out day to day refrigeration / air-conditioning tasks / repairs for our customers. 
  • Be able to help / train current Engineers where needed and when required.
  • Carry out surveys for the Branch Manager when / if required.
  • Meet customers for the Branch Manager when required.
  • Accept responsibility engineering wise when the Branch Manager is on holiday. 
  • Help source parts if and when required. 
  • Help with the planning of labour when required.
  • To help keep a positive happy atmosphere in the branch and the team.

Other Qualifications required….

  • Minimum 10 years Refrigeration / Airconditioning experience.
  • Level 2 and possibly 3 Guilds Refrigeration and Airconditioning.  

Expected work experience would be……

  • Having worked on compressor packs. Large and small semi hermetic compressors and hermetic scrolls.
  • Large and small c/units to evaporator refrigeration systems
  • Compressor receiver sets remote condensers oil separators liquid line accumulators etc.
  • Small and large cold rooms / freezers
  • All necessary controls RDM, Danfoss, Eliwell controls.
  • VRV A/C systems, twin a/c units heat pumps
  • Humidifiers and dehumidifiers
  • Fresh air AHU’S
  • Water chillers 

The Role comes with an excellent salary inc bonus all dependant on the applicants’ skills, experience and positive personal values.
